📜 1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using DietAIcian(“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the App.

⚠️ 2. Medical & Health Disclaimer

DietAIcian is NOT a medical device, nor does it provide professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical advice.

• All meal plans, macronutrient estimates, nutritional tips, and AI responses are generated algorithmically for informational and self-management purposes only.
• Always seek the advice of your physician, registered dietitian, or qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical condition, dietary restrictions, or drastic dietary changes.
• Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read or received from DietAIcian.
• If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency or severe allergic reaction, immediately call your local emergency services (e.g., 911 or 112).

🤖 3. AI-Generated Content & Nutritional Estimates

The App utilizes artificial intelligence (including OpenAI GPT models) and third-party food databases to generate meal plans, analyze food photos, and calculate nutritional values.

• Accuracy Not Guaranteed: Nutritional calculations (calories, protein, carbs, fats) and ingredient recognitions are approximations. Actual nutritional values may differ based on preparation, portion sizes, brand variations, and recipe substitutions.
• Allergy & Ingredient Verification: While our AI attempts to respect stated allergies and food preferences, you remain solely responsible for inspecting ingredients, reading packaged food labels, and verifying that food is safe for your consumption before preparing or eating it.

💳 4. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases & Billing

DietAIcian may offer premium features, subscription tiers (“DietAIcian Pro”), or one-time purchases:

• In-App Billing: All purchases made on iOS or Android are processed directly through Apple App Store or Google Play Store in-app billing systems (via RevenueCat).
• Recurring Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellations & Refunds: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play Account Settings or Apple App Store Subscriptions. Refund requests are subject to the policies of Google Play or Apple App Store.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription fees upon reasonable notice in accordance with platform policies.

👤 5. User Accounts & Security

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and onboarding. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

🚫 6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or AI models of the App.
• Abuse, spam, or overload our API servers through automated scraping or unauthorized bot traffic.
• Post offensive, harmful, defamatory, or deceptive content in public or community features.
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable health or privacy regulations.

🛡️ 7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DietAIcian, its developers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of health, personal injury, data loss, or economic damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time via the in-app Settings menu or our Account Deletion page, which permanently removes your data.
